Goals and Roles  
 
 
  The Arab Atomic Energy is an Arab scientific organization. It is one of the Arab League Organizations, but it has its own law and regulations with a considerable Identity. It concerns with the peaceful uses of Atomic Energy and the development of Nuclear Sciences and their Technological Applications. It, also, concerns with the International Development of the peaceful uses of Atomic Energy, and the methods and means to transfer that into the Arab Countries.

The main Goals and Roles of the (AAEA) is as follows:
 
     
 
  1) The AAEA shall have the functions of coordinating among member states in the field of peaceful applications of Atomic Energy.
   
  2) Giving assistance in research activities, manpower development and technical and scientific information.
   
  3) Seek to set up unified regulations for radiological protection and safe handling of radioactive materials
   
  4) Seek to coordinate scientific and technical activities with the concerned Regional and International Organizations for the benefit of the social development in the Arab Nation.
   
  5) Support the patents in the peaceful uses of Atomic Energy and adopt their applications with the provision of protection.
   
  6) Encouraging the Arab Scientists in the field of Nuclear Sciences and Technologies to attend relevant Arab and International conferences.
   
  7) To coordinate between the member states in the international Organizations activities.
